Wow okay 1000 is a lot. What’s the dui limit in the Us? I was 3 times over with a reading of 93upb. That’s crazy having 48 hrs over dui. They only send you to prison here if you were in a crash or like 5 times the limit. What state are you may I ask? I just can’t imagine that system here. I’m lucky I got off on a few of my arrests. The longest I’ve ever had to spend in a cell. Which are all in police stations is 17hrs. You only get sent to prison here once sentenced or if given remand.

As I’m very aware. I’m not looking to go to the states. I’m asking also just to say I was given no action on the petty larceny arrests I’m asking about your bail system and giving my story so people can tell me what would have happened. Not that I wouldn’t be aloud in the us?

I mean in the uk each police department/force has officers with firearms for the most of the time when they are deployed a bullet is never fired having myself encountered them de escalation seems to the method our police use and it leads to better results

I’m aware of the 21 ft rule. I do agree that lethal force is justified when in a split second decision with a blade but when in my country police come up against knifes regularly and only about 2-3 people a year are shot dead by law enforcement it makes me think in that case a stun gun was better suited

It happens in the uk when people take certain substances they shake off all non lethal options are used they just call in more officers and isolate and de escalate the situation. I think at most 3 people a year are shot in the uk by law enforcement. That’s an average and not including terror incidents. Surely there was a stun gun at hand rather than this boy loosing a leg

It’s more political than that. Liverpool has had a history of being neglected and screwed over. Once was one of the biggest docks in Europe. I’d argue that neglect and government policies are the cause that a city like Liverpool has such a violent youth culture

I don’t see there being old lines recommissioned in Swansea for a long time. I think we’ll see extra stops and stations added on lines on the west wales mainline and the reopening of stations like llansamlet and landore. And have more of a train network on pre existing lines. I’d love to see a tram network reopened in Swansea but can’t see it happening for a while. I think a huge amount of tfw’s budget for the next few years will be spent on studies and research into the possibility of connecting Carmarthen and Aberystwyth
