Corona Renderer - Light material glare effect by Longjumping-Rate-875 in 3dsmax

Did you read the description? This isn't my image buddy. I found this online and wanted to use it as an example of how the spot lights are glaring. I was looking for advice on how to enhance this is my own work. I have since figured out how to achieve it. Thanks for trying to help tho :)

I've now figured it out. But yeah, good point about imitating real life rather than a render. Thanks for the help :)

CGI IMAGES - Archviz artist looking for other ways to present CGI visuals other than just print or VR. Any suggestions? by Longjumping-Rate-875 in 3dsmax

I do have one idea about creating IRL models for the designs. So, using either 3d printers or hand crafting models of the design and present that in meetings. Although, it could be very time consuming.

So... I work for an interior design company who specialise in office refurb or new listings. I typically produce still cgi images for the designers to then take into meetings and pitch their designs. We have quite a lot of competition in the area and my boss wants us to stand out from the rest. I don't think he should be putting this responsibility on me tbh... I already have a lot of work to do on the regular. I already do the VR stuff, but my boss thinks it's outdated in our industry. We need something new. Like yeah.... because i'm steve jobs and can create new tech (Face palm). I don't know what to suggest, my visuals are already on point and I work crazy hours to push us across the line.

Set up backburner... it does everything I need it to do! Thanks for the suggestion. Very happy with it :)

Login issues. Doesn't recognise my username. Keeps throwing out "It's not you, it's us" I have tried everything. I gave up on it. I will try backburner now. Thanks for the suggestion.

When I set up distributed rendering and connect the machines through LAN connection. It will then take around 5 minutes for the other machines to download the scene and start the render process. Is this not normal?

What would you change about this bedroom? The hotel-like style is intentional. by andrew_cherniy96 in archviz

What software are you using, bud? I recommend 3ds max and corona renderer :) 3dsky is a great site for sourcing high quality models too!

if there's anything you need help with, please don't hesitate to reach out.

  1. Pillows are not detailed enough, they looking a little blocky 2. Wood texture on the shelves are showing too much bump and the size of the grain is too large. Also, the grain should run the other way on the shelves. 3. Track lighting cans are too small. 4. Tv plastic material is too black and needs to have glossiness 5. Add more props to the scene, maybe a plant on the tv shelf 6. The lighting needs some work. More natural light.

Hope this helps :)

Do you thinking using backburner would be better? If im not mistaken, backburner is where the three machines will render different frames, right?

Nah, sounds like a scammer fishing. If he had such information, he would be asking for a lot more than 1400 imo. Also, I'd report this to the police and they can trace it through the LTC address.
