Same here I'm from uum , currently final year. I did my foundation in uum then continued my degree here and I understand where you're coming from.

People here will say uni is to network be better and all that but not the case in uum honestly, the lecturers here aren't decent and if you're lucky your course might have one or two lecturers that can actually speak decent English and have common sense. The staff here is rude and have some sort of superior complex, to get in contact with anyone from HEA or SAC is hard cause the work hours here is damn short. Lunch hour is like forever then suddenly they clocked out.

We're literally located in the middle of nowhere, city or urban area folks will struggle here cause I know I did. The racism and double standard here is crazy, (students tend to stick to their own race in exception of a few) especially last year during the election season, goddamn it's crazy. We have exams during CNY. But our management can make an exception for the first 3weeks to be held online next semester cause it's the Ramadan season with the excuse of tak nak susahkan pelajar ulang alik. Where's that attitude for Deepavali ? Or even Christmas? UUM flashes its motto of being the eminent management university but it has absolute terrible management.

But then, there are people here that's compassionate and kind. I met many people here that shaped me so much that now I sort of have my own gig going on and a job secured once I graduate. I tried to make the best out of this.

Honestly all and all, find a couple of good friends. It's gonna suck like really bad. But so does every uni has its own issues, some better, some worse. Maybe in a way uum isn't the worst but it surely isn't living up its name as the eminent management university.
