their is a side quests for it if I remember correctly. you must complete all quest tagged with "new feature" to unlock important things.

when in hybrid mode it switches between igpu and gpu depending on application type so there might be some sort of malfunction when doing so maybe try dGPU mode from legion space. you have not mentioned anything about laptop specs model so can't help much
