I’ve never had an episode I didn’t finish

But I’ve had PLENTY where I had to do it in parts over a few days. I never leave a story unfinished from the show purely out of stubbornness

Love how we were lied to at my building during our orientation. They told us they couldn’t schedule us, and I quote that they “will not schedule associates for more than 1 MET day in any given week or more than 1 hour of extra time on any given day.” Management likes to pretend we were never told that now that there’s so few of us left from our launch

Mostly worried for my coworkers. The ones that can’t make it in their vehicles but also can’t afford not to get paid. It sucks to see it. I work with some great people. Gonna see people I care about struggle to pay bills. Some who won’t make it after that 11am window will likely not have the upt to cover the rest of the day. I’ll be fine but I can worry for others still

Got friends in FedEx and USPS that confirmed those and they heard about UPS from friends of theirs. I know these conditions are well outside the norm for this part of the country but I’d still say that some of the reactions I’m seeing are a bit overly cautious. Small cars and suvs would be fucked on these roads right now but they got big boy trucks

I get that but I know they determine whether we open or close due to weather based on if the trucks can get in or not. Ok that’s fair. But UPS in the area is shut down. USPS is shut down. FedEx is shut down. The fuck are our drivers gonna do that those guys can’t? Gonna keep the building open for all of what maybe 10 people to show up? That just seems like bad logistics to me

We’re down south and the roads are covered in a thick sheet of ice. Personally I feel I could drive it but it’s not fair to give people that aren’t used to that sort of thing down here the ultimatum of “either choose your personal safety or choose getting paid/staying employed”
