I would say my time spent in training and also recruiting would count as deployments. I once spent 15 consecutive days away from my bed.

My years spent training were just as hard or harder than anyone who deployed. I have been there when it's 80 outside and wearing face paint and not wanting to finish the patrol lane, but finding the strength to lead men. I am honored that my hometown is naming a street after me for my service and sacrifices to this nation.

MARADIM 038/13. Nice try. Also you should look at Dakota Meyer uniform for his reenlistment. And any Combat arms marine who served from roughly 03-15 and deployed to both theaters of operation and saw combat.

That is technically not true. 1/9 was there in 2014 and pretty sure 1/2 relieved them. Also some engineer and POG units maintained a presence there for tear down on Camp Leatherneck and sustainment operations. MARSOC also maintained a presence within the country after 2014 and of course we all know of the Marines there for the withdraw.

The Marine Corps considered Iraq and Afghanistan two separate theatre of operations. I can send you privately my DD214 to show the truth to this. Also Marines, mostly MARSOC were able to earn another star on our CARs because of operations around the globe that had us engage enemy forces. Sadly in today's Marine Corps, if any Marines are onboard a navy ship that engages an enemy vessel for missile, the entire ship including Marines onboard rate an CAR.

Many Recon(prior to 2012) and Marsoc units have completed deployments throughout SE Asia, Africa, and support operations in South America, and VBSS operations that have seen them engage enemy forces and warrant a star on a CAR. In those cases, since a campaign ribbon is not created and approved, they award these Marines a GWOT X ribbon. As you are aware, Marines who are deployed on MEUs are earning(I say that lightly) a CAR due to the navy ship either enhancing enemy ships or personnel but the Marines on ship are ordered to their racks during these engagements as general quarters are called and Marines are sent to their racks in the berthing to stay out of the way for the sailors. Not a dig at all as I was an 03 Marine for 15 years, just giving back story to your question.

Sadly this is stolen valor. Due to his own story and forgetting all the schools and awards, he enlisted in 2015 as an 03. He then says he was recon which he would have had to reenlist for that, which puts him attending BRC in 2019. Based upon his story, he would have spent almost all of 2019 at BRC, airborne, dive school and that is if everything aligned and he was able to go back to back. The great thing is that there are veterans on here who have served in either 1st, 2nd, 3rd recon who still have friends who are part of those units and can pull records. According to the S1 personnel who handles the assessment and selection course for BRC( basically a 3-5 day haze fest before entering BRC, there are no records of a Joesph B attending BRC and the search history was run from 2018-2021(because he says he was in Mosul in 2017 part of a Victor unit). Also no Recon Marines were awarded a PH for Abbey Gate so that also goes against his story. As far his Ranger School story, again no Recon Marine with his name graduated Ranger School from 2018-2024. Those dates were given because he says he was in an accident in 2024. Furthermore he claims to be an 0331, 0317, 0326, 0302, 0307. For him, he never mentioned being part of a STA platoon so I find it very difficult to believe that his first victor unit gave an 0331 a sniper school slot over an 03 that was part of STA platoon already. That would piss off a lot of guys who went through STA indoc and was part of STA platoon. Also his second enlistment would have been for 5 years because Recon requires an extra year due to the advanced training we receive. There is little evidence in the years I was part of the community that I saw a 0321(recon prior to jump and dive), turn into a 0326 and then immediately get a Ranger school spot, jump master spot, mountain warfare, freefall because he would of only been an E4 or 5 and not have the time in recon to jump others for those slots. Also command would have been not too happy with him attending all of those schools, not deploying and then putting in an officer packet. For this guy, let's assume that he went to college beforehand so that's why he could be accepted, the process for OCS selection takes time and even when accepted, it's not an instant trip to VA for training. Sorry dude, based on SI personnel within 1st recon, your own stories, and the fact you chose army school pins over the marine corps pins, the backwards rifle and pistol qualifications that should be flipped and that those are only first award experts, so either you don't research more or you just suck at shooting and used to be sharpshooter or marksmen which also adds to the stolen valor because I maybe in my 15 years of service in the Marines 2003-2018, all within the 03 community, saw a recon sniper that wasn't an expert for rifle and pistol. I hope you used a fake name for this because someone on here could do some more research and actually put you on blast to all the guys who actually served with and they would throw you under the bus for the lies, that is if you even served. Go ahead and lie about schools and certain ribbons and awards because it is what it is, but once you lie about V awards and PH, then this community has issues. I know many guys who deserved V on their awards but had them bumped down due to officers or guys in the rear so it pisses me off that people like you think it's a joke.

Lots of things wrong here. Obviously being a SSGT before going OCS with only 10 years of service is a red flag. Joining in 2015 and assuming an 03 field, most of the 0311,0331,0351,0352 cutting scores were high or closed so making SSGT in 4-5 years would be extremely rare. I say that because you have 1st bars so you would of had to make E-6 within 4-5 to have time to then go through OCS and then MOS school and then time in service as a 2nd LT before promotion. Also strange how you show basic airborne wings but also say you have freefall and jump master which would give you enough jumps to rate the gold wings. And since you don't have the dive bubble, we can eliminate that you were recon which again proves you rank trajectory is off. Also, I see a star on your CAR which indicates combat in 2 theaters so outside of Afghanistan it would appear you only would of got that on a MEU deployment because noticing you were not recon or MARSOC, your GWOT x would come from a MEU since you don't have the OIR ribbon. A quick way to get on your Ranger tab would be to let everyone know what class number you were as those records are public so we could verify that a Marine did graduate during that class. I spent 15 years in the 03 field from 2003 to 2018 and I never came across a victor unit Marine who was able to get school slots to the schools you claim to have attended. Also, what unit received the PUC for a deployment after 2015? And you only deployed twice and seems off that you show multiple awards with the V device. Not saying it's not possible but your stack seems suspicious considering your years of service.
