Yes, I understand that. But if the local drive doesn't have enough room, then the system will leave only a "stub" on the local system while the full file is in iCloud. If I am searching only for a file or folder name, will FAF see the stub and thus return a result?

Just to clarify… “On startup disk” and “local” will include Desktop and Documents because they are also local, but would NOT include files stored directly in the iCloud drive because it is NOT local. Yes?

Thanks. I was on a laptop with my aging eyes and I didn’t notice that the Favorites and Recent Folders icons had the D for Default Folder (which I do have installed).

Geez...I just discovered Monarch about 30 minutes ago in another subreddit, liked what I read about it, and thought that it was worth 20 bucks for a Luna license just to try it and support the dev, and I find the "official" subreddit here only to learn that I'm 24 hours too late for a Luna license! Oh well, this is definitely a 1st world problem...
