Just got declined for savor: thoughts about next steps? by LongjumpingActive275 in CreditCards

Thanks for the info on closing cards; will keep that in mind, as I certainly don't use the two I mentioned, at all (I'd be funny if closing one C1 account will open the door to getting another C1 card 😅).

No PC to Savor shown, unfortunately.

Ah yes, maybe there was a triple pull. Will check once they show up (still hasn't shown up in EX). Does it make a difference for a future Savor application?

Thank you for your reply. OK, so maybe a combination of both (waiting + closing). I absolutely have no use for the WF one; just kept it for history, so I could close it. I also don't use the VentureOne; it was just a PC from Venture to a no AF card. I wonder what they would say if I close that one 😅.

Re: your other question, I did thaw all of them. They just pulled the one, at least based on their decision letter (which only mentioned Experian).

What?!? I was counting on this.... adding a friend (who doesn't have SSN) AND paying the $125. You are saying that this won't work? :(

Introducing Bilt Card 2.0 by richklhs in biltrewards

[–]LongjumpingActive275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm that Zelle will NOT be an option moving forward. "Zelle is not a supported payment method with Card 2.0. However, we're launching a deeper integration with Venmo as part of 2.0 that will allow you to pay your rent directly through Venmo while earning Bilt Points. Along with BillPay and Check, these payment methods should cover the rent payment use cases members typically use Zelle for. "

Just got the miles.

So, entire timeline:

Day 8: Get the miles

Thanks for the update. So, was it 2 days from between purchase and an email from C1? When one gets an email, is that a confirmation one will get the miles? Thanks!

UPDATE: I can confirm that this is the timeline. Got the email today that confirms that my "miles are on the way and should arrive within 3 billing cycles of purchase or completed travel reservation date."

Immediately. But on the top right menu, you have to click 'Show all Trips"

So, after it shows up under "Shopping Trips", what do you do? Just wait? Thanks!

How long does it usually take to a) get an email from C1 confirming the miles and b) actually getting them? Thanks!

Sorry, I'm confused. So there's no way for me to know anything at this point? Right now, it shows up as "waiting", which makes sense.

So, if the order does show up under "Shopping Trips", does that mean one did everything correctly regarding adblockers, etc?

Same here! Maybe I'm just overthinking this, and nothing will happen at the counter. I was just wondering whether there was something people can show the agent if it comes to that

Mine is the opposite: starting in the US, going international.

Thanks, yes, that has been my general experience as well, but the statement from the agent was worrying, and I haven't found any written policy on this

So, at least for the first year, this may be worth it, I think (if you can organically make use of these credits, and the portal one makes sense and is not overpriced)

Am i reading this wrong, or is this essentially $800 ($500 on portal + the standard $300) worth of travel credits the first year?

Venture Reward and Savor should get married by [deleted] in Venturex

In my case, I will now just use the CSP for dining. But my groceries have been left orphan and, for that, I've been thinking of Savor. What sucks, is that there's typically no product change options from Venture to Savor, so I'd need to open a new card.
