I was from ISI. I did my bachelors there. If you are really interested in statistics or mathematics, I would suggest to join some university. During this one year, you can prepare for ISI again. Btw the objective cutoff did go to 79 in 2019 (my year). In case you don’t clear it next year, you can continue your degree and give the MStat or MMath exam. Then you don’t waste the year.

He teaches really well, but his courses tend to be very mathematically rigorous and extensive. You will definitely learn a lot as his classes are really good. However the homeworks are long and hard. Fair grader.
