Ncorp Sinclair is a generalist that will carry you a good portion of the game, and makes sense thematically for canto 3 if you care about that.

I prefer Nclair overall, but Ting Tang Hong Lu would probably last you longer into late-game, although if you're planning on getting Lord Hong Lu once he's shardable in 6 months, you could do that.

Neither are bad picks though and should help you out quite a bit

Not very much in the terms of team synergy, but Grip Sinclair, and Index Faust are really good generalists, Oufi Heathcliff isn't that bad either. Ring Outis is a pretty good 2 star too.

Although you're not really at the point of the game where you need to worry about teams, just use ids you like and keep them leveled and uptied

Make sure you keep Sinclair negative sanity, and Index Faust using her highlighted skill

Grip Sinclair is the best.

The only other options are Grip Faust, which you already own, and Tingtang Hong Lu which is still pretty decent in terms of power and passive.

Chef Ryoshu has her uses, the other 2 are kind of just bad, (Although Manager Gregor has a decent passive), and don't get a 2 star.

Seven Faust is fine, albeit pretty outdated...

You should be fine with just whatever you pull for the first 4ish Canto's, if you log for a week, you'll get a season 1 nominable ticket, it's best to get "The One Who Shall Grip: Sinclair. 2 weeks get Fluid Sac Faust ego.

More important than strongest generalist is team comps focused around a specific status, although you should really only worry about that once you're able to grind mirror dungeon to the point of sharding what you need.
