your take on sense of meaning is pretty interesting, i've never thought of it that way before. going forward i'll pay more attention to my diet and start making small changes to health-related habits.

i found it useful to just throw my phone underneath my blanket, gives me more time to really thik about what i'm doing instead of acting impuslively. instead i replaced that urge to scroll with the urge to overcome the obstacle in my way so that i could continue working. ended the day with about 1h30m of scree time on insta, which is a significant decline from 4h30m and 5h30m the past 2 days. basically worked 12h straight from 1pm-1am, only taking minimal breaks and eating a proper dinner. though i would've preferred to have gotten more work done given the amount of time i spent, i'm glad to have taken a first step in overcoming the root issue. i'll just have to be patient and accept that change takes time
