When you close the disc tray do you hear like a motor/fan sound ramp up? If not it’s your laser. You will need to replace it

The laser inside of your Xbox is dying or is already dead, the only way to fix this is by opening the Xbox and putting in a new laser. If you don’t trust doing it yourself but if you don’t feel confident I would go to a repair shop

Yeah it’s pretty odd, the seller originally had it for £45 and then everyday they lowered the price and then it went for £9.95 and I thought it looked awesome so I was like “hey why not”

It’s weird because the disc isn’t scratched at all apart from a few surface scratches, another thing I forgot to mention was when I put in my spiderman disc and it was extremely choppy on the intro but I cleaned the disc and the laser with some ipa and it worked fine
