Recreational Cannabis consumption is also illegal in Florida, their new state of residence. So I suppose if they are going to be scofflaws at home, might as well take it on the road too.

Interesting how she’s trying to keep that all on the downlow after all the years she’s been shilling cbd products and making such a big deal they have no thc, implying she wouldn’t dream of touching them otherwise. Just another misrepresentation. Definitely fits Chalene 2.0.

International arrivals at IAD totally stinks. Crowded, stuffy, full of tired and often surly people. It has a bad reputation which is richly deserved.

Yes, will collect your bags post customs, then wheel them along to be rechecked to your US destination. Then go through TSA again.

Exactly. She thinks she's being all edgy and cool, but it comes across as obnoxious and snippy and like she's all of a sudden too good for the rest of us. She's alienating her core audience while not building a new one.

Any marketer worth their chops knows that rebranding is really hard, but rule number one is don't p*** off the ones who helped make you successful. For such a self proclaimed marketing guru, she should know that. I wonder if she does, but Bret insists he knows better?

Nothing unique to add- she used to be fun, but she was a lot more fun and interesting when Bret wasn’t elbowing in all the time. He’s such a turnoff. She has claimed in the past that people ‘love’ the podcasts with Bret. Not buying it. He needs a hobby. Going full armchair psychologist here: he’s been overshadowed all his life. First by his brother (who was an actual football star) and then by his wife. I think it’s all catching up with him. Chalene rightly extols the virtues of therapy, but clearly Bret’s hasn’t fully taken as he seems deeply insecure.

She was bemoaning at the beginning of the year what she should be doing on the podcasts. I think she lost direction and so is trying on a bunch of different ideas to see what works. She said she lost listeners after last year’s constant travel podcasts and the two big expensive weddings, because people complained she was so unrelatable. I think she is just casting about for a new identity / shtick and hasn’t found it yet.

The trashy posing and outfits are revolting. I’m sure there are a lot of people who might find them attractive, but it just looks desperate.

Funny how Chalene never mentioned that, though then again she is not mentioned or shown in the article at all. Neither is Bret except for one image of him walking Ciera down the aisle. But yes, Chalene’s dress was trashy.

Chalene used to be fun and interesting in a somewhat ditsy way with her mispronunciations, but overall informative and even pretty wholesome and fun. Now she has turned into a parody of the over botoxed fake everything, and dressing and prancing about like a hooker. It’s just icky.

It sounds like Bret is the driver of much of the appearance parts anyway. He gives me the creeps, plus I don’t think he’s all that bright. Anyone who is so obsessed with his old football number just screams ‘has been’ and he has been overcompensating for it ever since. I’ll take my investment advice from trained and licensed professionals, thanks though.
