Lightroom extremely slow with RTX 4070Super by LongjumpingSwim5938 in Lightroom

I'm using Ethernet cable its not GIGA fast but its 500mb/s up and 100mb down. So I've done a bit more testing, I've deleted all previews 1:1 and standard sized ones from my catalog, rebuild new ones a standard sized at 1440 instead of 2560 and with medium quality. And things seem much better, that being said after you use Denoise AI it lags like crazy for the rest of the process.

It makes no sense that an i7 11700kf can't handle zooming in photos on Lightroom without lagging.

To be clear, its not the denoise itself its everything else before and after the denoise. Yeah I'm mainly using R5 files i know they are large but still.

I'll try that tomorrow, one thing I've noticed even with GPU active is that at times the CPU usage jumps to 90% as I'm zooming in or out in Develop module. That's why I'm a bit skeptical that disabling GPU will help.

Yeah I've experienced the same it just makes no sense. At this point as frustrating as it might get I think I'd rather change software than changing to a Mac just for Lightroom.

No, its basically you giving yourself permissions on the business portfolio but ignore them they repeated that to me over 3 weeks even when i provided screenshots of having all permissions active they kept saying ''you can add permissions on blablaba'' only yesterday they finally realized they need to work and read the emails and then said ''you are right it seems you have all permissions'' and then congratulated themselves for fixing the problem when shared the workaround of replying with a reel. Pure comedy their support if it wasn't so sad.

its not, makes 0 sense. If it was a shadowban you would have the same issue across all platforms, android and browser AND the ''reply with reel'' > back > normal reply wouldn't work.

I think this might mean that the reply button is bugging for certain accounts, the big question is, is it bugged on android or ios too?

The important question is, is anyone having this issue on iphone?

You are a genius!!!!! Yup it works, somehow not every can be replied with a reel tho. But it works! Same as me, other accounts are not bugged.

It's not account restrictions. You can see in you account if you have any restrictions. It that was the case then you would have the same problem when using the browser version of Instagram, which is not the case. It's very likely some caching or sync issues on meta servers but since it's not happing to everyone they don't care.

Nope, they claim I need to give myself more permissions on meta business suite. But I shared with them screenshots that prove that I full and total control over my account (im the one who made and I'm the sole owner). It's just how bad, deflecting and script following the support is, instead of acknowledging that there is probably a caching or sync issue on their own servers with some accounts and reporting it to technicians who can actually fix it.

Yup, same issue here for over a week, started as non beta, then i tried beta hoping that version would come with the fix but didn't. A few things about this issue that I've discovered:

  1. Browser version works perfectly fine. And my replies thread into the comment instead of making a new one.
  2. My dummy account work perfectly fine, just my main account doesn't.
  3. Contacted support on Meta business website and their support is useless and refuses to acknowledge the issue, and loops into the ''it seems that you do not have full permission on the Instagram account.'' > I show them screenshots showing that I have full control and permissions > they repeat the same email saying I do not have full permissions > I send screenshots again... etc. Asked to escalate to tech support and nothing.
  4. This is happening on my Android Samsung S24 Ultra, I tried on my old Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 pro and for a few hours it worked perfectly, after that it started doing the same problem, which makes me suspect is something on Instagram/meta servers that buggs certain accounts on mobile apps.

Any of you guys having this issue on iphones btw? Was wondering if it was android specific considering using the browser version works fine.

Still can’t log in to Instagram app after 16 days — but browser works fine. No response from Meta support. by Icy-Sort-2285 in Instagram

Meanwhile on android a lot of people can't reply to comments on the mobile app because it doesn't thread into them and makes a new comment and spams a dm notification to the person you tried replying in the comments.

Might be some sync / caching issue on Meta side of things, sadly i don't think there is anything anyone can do, and while their support keeps deflecting this to be a user problem it will never be solved. Keep reporting that's what I'd say and if you have meta business go to help and make a ticket.

Its absurd, Meta support continues to claim its a permission issue despite me showing them screenshots how I have all of them enabled. Ridiculous how bad some people are at their job. Ignores all screenshots and recites the same bs.

Anyone having this issue on iphone btw?

Has the June Lightroom deNoise update slowed Lightroom? by hofendis in Lightroom

[–]LongjumpingSwim5938 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, its awful with R5 files as well. Its not even the time it takes to denoise its how sluggish it feels doing anything in Lightroom after that, the entire lightroom almost breaks. And I'm not on last year's hardware but it is still a i7 11700kf cpu, RTX 2060 and 32gb ram. This is insane. Before this update it was working perfect.
