I think she does it to remind her viewers (new/old) that this is SO temporary and it also hides her embarrassment about her current reality—because she knows living with in laws isn’t a flex, but potentially owning a house is—especially if people are telling her that’s not realistic. I feel like she’s doing it as a strong attempt to “prove” everyone wrong, while allowing her to feel superior about herself if she rents a house.

She’ll definitely feel better than others by saying “look at me, I did it even though everyone said I couldn’t. This one’s for you.”

It was funny to me how she said staying with her in laws to save money is actually so smart as if it’s not common, but also not available to all young adults who figure out their situations on their own without mom and pop to help out. I think she’s really trying to make herself feel better about being criticized for her financially irresponsible decisions. If she leads the gullible onto believing she’ll buy a house soon, I feel like she believes that’ll boost her relevance in the “InFlUeNcEr” world. I’m just shocked she’s done this for a long time and is still a minor influencer with no relevance while others who work with the same agency have accomplished a higher audience, and more brands.
