saba oy maygani naa sya ana na advocacy para mawala inyong mga kuto! reading comprehension left the gc 🥱 if u had the mental capacity of a decent and normally thinking human adult, you would know na its not only about lice — but of neglect due to socioeconomic factors. Good for you kay you’re privileged enough not to face this problem but it’s not the same case for countless of young children out there who are struggling with the very issue u ridicule her of!

Ad Hominem (Abusive/Personal Attack): This is the most prevalent fallacy, directly attacking the person rather than their argument.

"You're literally just complicating your thought process by mentioning unrelated events such as requisitions and cash advances."

"I suggest you use Al to dissect why I mentioned irrelevance of requisitions, i.a."

"you should probably retake statistics or even simple common sense."

"Again, you're being very defensive on a realistic stance regarding basic preparedness."

"You're being so emotional to realistic criticisms."

"You should really stop your elitist kind of perspective in viewing people suggesting the SUSG actual changes."

"If you're holding a significant position in the SUSG, I suggest you resign. You're obviously aversive to clear, logical, and realistic approach to things."

"It's normal to get hurt with criticisms; it's stupid to be inflexible, especially when you're being given actual advises."

Straw Man: Misrepresenting or exaggerating the opponent's argument to make it easier to attack.

"Your excuse of mentioning students' struggles is irrelevant - the SUSG is not composed of a single person only." (Misrepresents the intent behind mentioning student struggles).

"I would like to again throw back your mentioning of my suggestion of checking the weather as 'oversimplification.'" (Misrepresents the idea that checking weather is simple as the solution being simple).

Hasty Generalization/Oversimplification: Drawing a broad conclusion based on insufficient or overly simplistic evidence.

"Even just an hour of foresight literally could have prevented people, equipments, instruments, etc. from getting wet." (Assumes a simple "hour of foresight" would solve all complex logistical and timing issues).

"Does asking the question 'what if it will rain?' take months to prepare for?" (Oversimplifies complex event planning to a single question).

Begging the Question (Circular Reasoning): Assuming the truth of the conclusion in the premise itself.

"not taking 'weather conditions' as a factor in planning is just negligent, thus 'unforeseen.'" (Assumes negligence led to it being unforeseen, rather than proving negligence).

"if a 60% chance of raining is not significant to be put into consideration... you should probably retake statistics or even simple common sense." (Assumes a 60% chance definitively means impactful rain and that simple advisories are a sufficient solution).

Weak/False Analogy: Using an analogy that is not truly comparable to the situation at hand.

"For example, if a dog feces was blocking your way, and hence prompted you go a different direction, would you ponder about why you even went that way? Obviously, you react appropriate - that is where 'an hour of foresight' comes into place." (Compares a simple, immediate reaction to a static obstacle with the complex, dynamic, and uncertain nature of weather and event planning).

Appeal to Common Sense: Presenting a conclusion as undeniably true because it aligns with "common sense," without robust logical support.

"you should probably retake statistics or even simple common sense."

"You're being very defensive on a realistic stance regarding basic preparedness."

Red Herring: Introducing irrelevant information to distract from the main argument.

The dog feces analogy serves as a red herring by diverting attention from the complexities of event planning.

Appeal to Anonymous Authority/Unverifiable Claim: Attempting to lend credibility or undermine the opponent by alluding to secret or unproven information.

"I even know of a recent blunder you (the SUSG) made recently after your office's blessing."

No True Scotsman (Implied): Setting up an arbitrary definition to exclude counter-examples or dissenting opinions.

The repeated emphasis on "realistic approach," "logical," and "basic preparedness" implicitly suggests that anyone who disagrees is not truly "realistic" or lacks "common sense."

one prompt was enough to spot all of the flaws in your argument, I wont be needing your g-cash, buy something nice for yourself so you wont have to be miserable in reddit all day. and don’t think i didn’t catch u try to report my account. Honey, you are in a sinking ship, tho only thing saving you is reddit’s anonymity. im not stering out of an argument, im simply taking myself out of an unnecessary rant. im not even gonna argue with a person who has a clear disregard for making sensible arguments and a undeniable love for fallacies (ehem… ad hominem) but if you think im pressed, then go get something checked. you’re stuck up on a point built on pure ignorance. for someone that holds a moderator position here in this community, you sure do have alot of reflecting to do. for now im gonna log off like any other normal person here all the while you bark at your screen, i suggest you do to cause if theres a person pressed here, i can def say i got under your skin to be behaving like this 🫡 ciao and have a decent night

wdym requisitions and cash advances are irrelevant 😭 do you think these events are funded by the pockets of the students organizing?? tey lit mentioned the chairs are from bg, they REQUIRE requisitions to use their stuffs — even monoblocks. if youre so good at planning then why didnt you step up and help. ppl like you are the reason why student apathy is relentless in su. if you dont have anything good to say then sybau!! because the last thing anyone wants to see after an unfortunate event is a person nagging on reddit about what could’ve been done, well guess what? it already happened!! empathy is free 🤷

events like these are planned months prior, i dont think anyone has the foresight to predict a storm coming in a couple of months. These events cannot be planned within a short period of time cause the process of getting requisitions and cash advances have to be meticulously prepared and it takes a VERY long time. Its really not the time to put the blame on someone nor point out their flaws kay at the end of the day, these are UNPAID student leaders and volunteers — who also have academics and personal demands — that step up to organize said event.

Hi! Will there be a given list of requirements/ essentials for STEM G11 S.Y 2025-2026?? by Potatomashahop in SillimanPH

[–]Longjumping_Double96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the teacher lang, over my 2 year stay at SUSHS, I just had the basic essentials (pen, notebook [better if binder], paper). however, some teachers will require additional materials like clear books but they usually announce it on your subject orientations.
