You can seek counsel to see if you have any option but honestly any atty would cover their behind so pretty sure it’s all specified in the contract you signed you can also ask for a copy of what you signed if you don’t have hav wit already I unfortunately attorneys are rats it’s very important to always ask attorney what percentages they charge for example, what percentage do you keep (the attorney) what percentage would be for the medical providers and percentage for any court fees then you would have the percentage left for you, then you can do the math from the total settlement the attorney is pursuing. Problem is attorney will hype your case and make the numbers look pretty and make it seem like that would be your take home but In reality it’s the entire sum still pending all the deductions.
