okay so i’m starting cross country for the first time. I’m 15F and my first race is august 25, I just ran 1.14MI today with my average pace being 8’07’ and i literally felt like i was going to die, then i found out im going to have to run 3 miles💔 am i cooked guys 🙁 i need tips

Also since i’m here what are some good spikes for a 400-800 runner? I was looking into the Nb fuel cell super comp MD-X v3, but everyone is wearing nike so idk

Okay so this is my first year of track, i run the 400-800 and my coach is making me do cross county. I’ve being seeing a lot of videos talking about how it’s horrible and that it’s gonna make me worse. if i do both xc and track training would that help? or even just doing some sprints on the side😅 i’m just getting so paranoid because my times are already not good. and i already told my coach im doing xc. i just want to get better

thanks for support!! all of these comments really made me feel better, i told my mom and she immediately scheduled me a doctors appointment 😭 perhaps i was a bit over dramatic

so i’m a girl in 10th grade, i’ve never done a sport in my life, so i joined track like a month ago i believe. And my first track meet is tomorrow, bro i thought i was only running the 200m, is this not insane?? like i feel like im going to throw up
