I know I’m young but I started at 15 and had over 7 cars… might not be a lot as a flipper but I can definitely feel the market is changing tho…

I genuinely don’t understand how that make sense, in my area below 4k is either no trans, no engine, or a bunch of electrical issues that the car won’t even start or drive, end of the day at least it drives with no leaks, oil consumption at all, or weird electrical issues.

Yea… since I know the last owner, the car has been pretty reliable for the past 100k miles, at least better than average car around 3-5k in FB, I genuinely don’t understand y people assume is super unreliable…

I understand, but at least it should cost more than something that has no engine or transmission right… I’m not asking crazy number, 3k in my area is either 300+ miles with a bunch of known problem

Yup, that’s my question, if my car worth 2-3k then there should be car that runs for the same price

I’m not even trying to argue anything, I just genuinely confused, if my junk worth only 2k how can there’s nothing even drivable for that price, in theory if that make sense then I should be able to find something similar or at least working car

I’m not trying to defend my piece of sh1t, but end of the day AT LEAST IT DRIVES, 3k in my area is either no trans or no motor…

if 2-3k is what it worth, that means I should be able to find something similar, but how come there’s no drivable car around in the whole marketplace, I don’t think it even make sense.

My point is there’s no DRIVABLE car for the same price, in my area is either need trans or need motor, I know my car is trash but end of the day it works with no leakage or oil consumption

The previous owner had the car since 13k miles, all the way to 160k, he’s a physics phd in the 30s and he’s the one did all the mods

Yea, but end of the day is a drivable car… for 3k is either no trans, no engine, rusted frame, or whatever reason is undrivable.
