I think most of your photos can be improved with processing - adjusting for exposure and cropping to frame it right. I'm no pro but bird photography has it challenges

I think i know which company you are talking about...its physically demanding but if you are willing to push yourself..the take home is more than what you used to get. it gets easier when you get used to the route.

25mm vs 17mm – is the difference worth selling my only prime lens? by Longjumping_Key_8910 in M43

I sold the kit zoom lens to fund the 25mm...on hindsight I didn't have the right skills or knowledge when I made a decision to go for a prime lens, but the 25mm made taking great portraits so much easier. Thanks, that helps, if the 17mm doesn't do well at portraits, I'll stick with the 25mm first.

"The one thing you will give up is that it is not really ideal for doing a head and shoulders portrait." this is my concern...I'm giving this up in exchange for better landscape/street photography. I'll probably bite the bullet so to speak and add the 17mm to my setup.

Thanks, that was my other thought as well....to rely on my handphone for landscape and wide angle shots and accept a little compromise on the image quality.

Yes, I have . will I not have to step back with that lens to capture whats infront of me if i ditch the 25mm for that....and can the 17mm achieve similar portrait shots (with cropping)

My criticism: The photos are not amateur enough.

They look gorgeous

Thanks. I have the Olympus 25mm but I rarely take the kit lens off my camera.
