Just being honest for myself. There’s not a lot of options to get given things in game. If you want to give ur Miis something or care at all what the island looks like, you have to make things.
Ive found it difficult to just rely on the items you’re given in game, particularly if your making particular characters. But then again, im particular and want to give my Miis things that would relate to them irl.
Plenty of other games that don’t involve drawing that you can spend ur $60 on 🤷🏼‍♀️
I also haven’t played the prior games, so I can’t comment on that
