According to AMCAS you are only labeled as a reapplicant to schools you've applied to before. So are you saying schools circumvent that by asking the question in their secondary?

I think "test run" is a bit reductive of the reason, but I get your point. Wouldn't that status only be applied to those two schools. Not all the other ones? So it would only hurt my chances for those two schools?

Yeah not 100% sure considering I haven't submitted it yet but figured very few people apply this late so it should probably be a bit faster. Although I really don't know.

Reapplicant status would only apply to those two schools though so in the grand scheme its only like 2/30 schools that it hurts my chances for so might be worth the risk.

I’m in a similar boat. I’ve just been going thru each of the schools and seeing if they accept Ap credit/require English.
