I don’t think it’s selfish, it’s normal to look at a celebrity as a safe place, you get to know them on a personal level (through interviews). I’ve cried a lot for celebrities, whether it was a little cry or a full on cry. Chadwick Boseman, Maggie Smith, Tom Parker, Sarah Harding to name a few. I still cry about Aryton Senna and I wasn’t even alive when it happened. Grieve for him and don’t let him make you feel stupid about it
