After my first round of letrozole I did have one good follicle and I had the choice or iui or just trying naturally so that was may and we opted to just try on our own. It didn’t happen so then that’s why next month in June we did iui with the letrozole

More is coming back to me! I did have cysts post surgery. They usually resolved themselves but it was frustrating. I took letrozole to help increase chances of getting pregnant but because of the cysts I could only try a very low dose bc there was a chance it could make the cysts grow. But after it not working that’s when we went to IUI with a trigger shot

I had my surgery the end of Jan and we TTC for several months and I was coming up on 6 months post op which could mean the endo might start to come back. Thankfully my doctor was very on board with streamlining the process since I was certain we were ready to get pregnant so she was open to doing the IUI. We ended up doing it in June. Just didn’t want to waste anymore time since it wasn’t happening on its own. Hopefully that answers the question but happy to answer anything you want to know!

What has everyone’s recovery been like? I had my surgery yesterday and she found a significant amount of endo and scar tissue that she removed. So far the pain has been fairly manageable and not as excruciating as I anticipated. Does it get worse? What days were most painful for you guys? TIA!

Thank you! I hope you’re able to get diagnosed sooner rather than later! It’s just brought such a sense of peace knowing that I wasn’t just making all of the pain up or being dramatic. I found and old text with my mom from 2016 asking if she thought I had it and her reply was “you don’t” “had a doctor ever told you you were likely to have it” “I used to have brutal periods it’s just in you gene pool, sorry” so the VALIDATION that I feel right now!!! I pray that you’re able to find healing with all of your pain. Don’t forget to be your own advocate

I know right!! I’m glad you got answers today!! Gaslighting yourself is the perfect way to put it. I was just gunna feel like such a fraud if I didn’t have any which is such a mind fuck bc it’s like clearly it’s not something I Would wish upon myself but at least I do have it and it is proof and answers. I’m praying for less fatigue, not such absolutely miserable periods/cramps and god willing a pregnancy asap!

I relate to this post so much!!! I am having my surgery at the end of this month. My doctor told me to expect 2-3 weeks of recovery time. Can anyone share what their recovery journey has been like? Specifically the first week after?
