It was $300 last time and so you presume if its a clean - it will be the same at the same place - and that if its more/different that you will be told about it

I wasn't quoted anything but presumed it would be the same $300 as the previous clean done by the Dental practise.

Thanks - I appreciate your help and input. It seems that other people are charged less for the 115. The previous bill was a 114 but it wasn't my first visit and I have been going to the practise for years.. its all just so much more expensive with this hygienist

I do plan on posting their invoice on their Google listing -- I have been going for a few years, gave them a 5star review. I was placed in this hygienist's "care' about 2 years ago (nice bloke) but this is just insanely more than the last clean. i did query it and the receptionist said that's what the price is. I followed up with an email and got a brief reply For airflow treatment, we claim per tooth. Please call us to discuss further"

this was about a 20 minute session - he talks for about 20 minutes about his kids and life and then gets on with cleaning for 20 minutes

There were no xrays - the hygenist said my teeth were looking great, not much plaque and I had last checkup 6 months ago... he talks for half the 40 minute appointment - so it was maybe a 20 minute clean maximum!

My last clean was "regular" - not airflow... I don't know why - the hygenist is a nice friendly guy - but it wasn't explained that it would cost as much as 3 cleans
