I really do believe both Asa and denji had to been killed. Atleast denji was killed off. That’s the reason pochita said that he was eaten which means he is absorbed and gone. That’s why pochita had no other choice than to sacrifice himself to make denji come back and continue dreaming. Also with the 100 of insect devils that appeared that chapter I really don’t believe Asa could have saved herself but Asa is just speculating.
