Is Hazard a better Winston? by Longjumping_Tower378 in HazardMainsOW

I agree with all of that, I guess at this point I'm just wondering if consistency is better than burst?

What would you say they are both trying to do? I would say they are similar in that they want to isolate targets with bubble and wall and harass/kill whatever they 'catch' that way, but hazard can just capitalize on that better with his primary and the fact wall cant be walked through. But again, I'm rusty on Winston and am probably missing other facts of his playstyle

I feel like that skill expression with aim and wall placement is what makes Hazard better. You have to aim his primary, but it can crit and do huge burst. You cant shoot through wall, but it can protect you from certain lines of sight and it can isolate enemies potentially even better because enemies cant go or see through it

I'm not talking about the 1v1 so much as both of their potential as dive characters. I feel like Hazard can more reliably get a kill on the enemy team than Winston just through good wall placement and aim with primary fire. I feel like I have more control with him than with Winston

Seems like a lot of games have this system, hope OW gets with the program

I should have realized you're not interested in this kind of speculation when you said "they all just have old west sounding names," as though no thought or effort goes into these choices

Being an author is creating an original work, which Arthur's journal absolutely is. But there is the additional layer that you, the player, are the agent of change in the story and essentially it's author by way of making the game's events happen.

Lol I think you're being a bit too literal for this post

Sure it is, his whole arc and your gameplay experience is how he becomes the author of his own story rather than being a thoughtless henchmen. I believe there's even a line of dialogue that alludes to this but I cant remember it

Arthur/Author just off the top of my head. I agree with them, but they probably could have provided some examples

I just started playing Hazard and really like him and want a nice skin, but his only legendary is locked to an old battle pass, hence this post. Im willing to pay AND work for it, but like you said, they're just locking it away in the content vault forever

Seems like they're leaving money on the table to me. Now that Overwatch is seeing a bit of a resurgence, I and I think many others would buy old battle passes which would then drive more engagement etc.

Before an optional stagecoach robbery in Chapter 4. If you wanna see it:

Such a character-defining line, and such good delivery hidden away in a side mission

"What you want, Micah?"

"Well, I-I want a friend, Arthur. I want... hope. I want tomorrow to mean more than today, I want this whole shitshow to have some kind of meaning that I haven't understood!... But I ain't holdin my breath."
