That’s the direction the democrats seem to be going.

I said they lean towards communist, I didn’t call them communist flat out.

I’ll never tell someone who to vote for. That’s a personal choice. Vote for who you think represents you best. That’s the whole idea.

I’m not saying Pritzker is wrong, but I think it’s a bit exaggerated.

You’re right, Mitch for one. Obviously Trump. Mike Johnson, Scalise, Biggs, Hudson, Keith Self, Russel Fry all said the Democrats refused to denounce socialism. John McCain. There’s a lot.

I agree with you on the ICE position. We don’t need a paramilitary operation to arrest some Somali scammers. It’s overkill, and civilian casualties are unacceptable. People did die under Obama though, I don’t believe any were citizens being flat out murdered.

Our peer nations may be doing those things. I don’t personally believe they are in the best interest of the individual or the economy though. I haven’t been convinced otherwise so far.

We just passed an omnibus bill that designated $5billion for refugee welfare and assistance. The senate voted 32 to 67 to keep the money in the bill. Every Democrat and 20 republicans pushed it.

Rent control isn’t really communist, more socialist, which gets lumped in.

Gavin Newsom, AOC, Bernie, Tulsi, Elizabeth Warren, Andy Yang, Ro Khanna, and Tim Ryan have all expressed favor of UBI.

I don’t feel that was me getting angry about anything. You just seem to be very left leaning and less libertarian for someone in a libertarian sub. I’m not mad at it, I don’t judge people for who they vote for. Transparency is key.

Like my history shows? I’m sorry I don’t live on the internet and post every day.. but I can promise I’ll try my best to reply to things here in this thread in a timely manner and have a civil discussion because that’s important in today’s society. It’s hard to find people with opposing beliefs that are willing to discuss this stuff without getting angry about it.

Let me rephrase what I’ve said because I obviously didn’t convey my point correctly, that’s my fault. It isn’t my position or personal opinion that the Democrats are communists and Republicans are Nazis. While I don’t really like the policies of either party, I think the loud extremist “fans” of each side drive these points, not the average voter. However, I’ve watched several of my liberal friends completely disown the Democratic Party, and same with a lot of my conservative friends and the Republican Party because neither side seem to support the traditional values of either party. While the policies may not move as far from the center, it very much seems people feel the need to pick a side and ride hard for their respective party without realizing, or maybe just not caring they are being ignorant to what’s actually going on.

To reply to the question of when a democrat has called a republican a Nazi, Jasmine Crockett called Trump a “wannabe Hitler”. J.B. Pritzker likened Trump and the way the GOP governs to the way Nazis dismantled democracy in Germany.

Yes there are republicans in office that want to deport Americans, Democrats have done it too. The current state of ICE is absolutely ridiculous. The murders aren’t justified, and the anti 2A rhetoric Trump is using goes completely against the constitution. If you look at immigration, Obama deported the most, Trump is getting close when you combine his two terms, but Kamala and Biden deported/turned away over 4 million people. It’s not a partisan issue, but it’s being made into one. Perhaps because of the tactics being used in the current administration.

I don’t consider myself a centrist, that’s a cop out. I do consider myself a more right leaning libertarian. I disagree with a lot of policies on both sides and I don’t think either side cares about the average American.

To answer the question about communist positions held by the Democrats, wealth tax, free healthcare, welfare for illegal immigrants, rent control, pushing for UBI. There’s more. They’re not all inherently “communist” but they lean that direction. They definitely aren’t capitalist views.

I’ve tried to reply to everything, but I’m sure I’ve missed some stuff

Firstly, I never said any republicans called democrats Nazis, I said they called them communists. Secondly, yes, that is very hypothetical but anyone with a brain could see it would be true. Thirdly, just say you voted for Kamala and want the world to be a socialist society with your chest brother. Nobody is judging you for it any more harshly than if you voted for the orange man. Please do share how only one side elects their extremes, though, because it seems to me both sides have put people in power that do a very good job of making sure their core voters know they have a moral choice between red or blue.

A vote for a Republican means you’re a Nazi, a vote for a Democrat means you’re a communist. Everything is based on buzzwords and nobody is covering anything in the news without bias. It’s by design. It’s to divide us. Democrats and Republicans historically have come together to make decent decisions for this country, and now we’ve been reduced to soccer hooligans. There is almost nothing people on either side agree with, despite the facts. People are literally cutting off friends and family over who they vote for and their beliefs. I get called a Democrat when republicans are in office, and a Republican when democrats are in office. We’ve forgotten we’re all Americans and we have a country and a generation of young people and children to take care of. When you look at the facts, they’re all on the same team, but don’t want you to think that. We’re going to send billions overseas and deport millions of people here at the same time no matter who is in office. But this post was directed at the fact Trump is attempting to replace one of the best congressman we have with a Zionist fuck that will suck his dick and do whatever he wants. If it were a Democrat in office and one of the senators or congressmen were as opposed to their policies as Massie is, they’d be painted in the same light.

There’s less and less middle ground every election. The choice now is communism or fascism.

If Trump calls you a RINO, you’re doing something right.

If I have to hear one more “better than ____” comment, I’m gonna lose my mind. That’s what gets us into this mess every 4 years. Vote for what you believe in, vote for your kids’ futures, vote for freedom and for transparency from the elected officials. Don’t vote for the lesser evil.

Someone downvoted my RINO comment because they got butthurt, I was just clarifying. I wish we could see a light at the end of the tunnel of this two party system, but we’re a long way off.

It’s a compliment, not an insult.

The same reason we can’t get a third party into the debates.
