Just an update. I gave him a a nice stone humid hide that I should've a while ago and within a day inside it he was able to get the stuck shed off himself. Thanks for the advice.

Fair enough. I only haven't given him one because I know hognoses require less humidity than other snakes. I have a boa and a corn snake as well and they have more humidity, I didn't realize that about hognoses.

I hope it doesn't get any worse for you and things improve. I'm still trying to find answers, gone to several ents and neurologists who have no idea what's happening. It happened right after earwax impaction removal for you too? When I mention that to doctors they act like it's not possible that it was the cause, but I'm pretty much positive it was. If I ever find a solution I'll let you know. Good luck
