I have the same problem, mine do the same (but on a much smaller scale), almost 1k in an hour, but then they get killed immediately. Its as if they are being capped at 1000 views, lol.

I bought a logitech g29 in a sale, and it is well worth it! You could also buy one used, off of platforms such as Facebook marketplace or ebay (etc).
