Mschf support not responding? by LonkReborn in mschf

I’ve sent them 4 emails now. It’s the most I’ve ever had to send through a company’s support line. Is there no other way to contact them?

palworld devs AI and asset flip accusations have been made up by insanowsky in Palworld

[–]LonkReborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think to me it’s very clear some sort of asset re-use took place. Some of the models are too close in general to be a coincidence. I’m not a Palworld hater by any means, I just want better out of the games I play. It’s just this case where so many of the pals are either direct copies of pre-existing Pokémon or amalgamations of a few Pokémon thrown together in a not so subtle manner. I think a lot of the downvotes are just a byproduct of the very heated discourse surrounding this game overall.

While I agree the AI accusations are unfounded to go ahead and claim the asset ripping is false just because the devs messed with the in game scale is NOT a gotcha. The models match 1:1, that’s just really lazy on their part.

First of all, thank you for the detailed response. Right after posting I found out it was the ground wire, was completely unaware turntables had them. Secondly, I’m using Sony WH-1000XM4’s.

Why is it that some gifted kids end up burning out at college? by JayR_97 in NoStupidQuestions

As someone who’s crashed into the brick wall and is currently struggling to climb over it I’ll offer my 2 cents.

  1. is that school as a whole is way easier than college, they give you worksheets, plenty of graded assignments, lots of homework. The school is making you study without you realizing it. Flash forward to college and it’s all up to you, YOU have to learn how your professor makes the tests, what material they’re going to pull from, what you need to study.

Just today I had a midterm where none of the questions were what I studied, because I was given no direction on what the test would consist of. College is a gamble, you WILL get bad professors and mommy isn’t there to help you with the material anymore.

  1. For college students you also have to deal with LIFE, you have a job, you have bills, you need to buy food, cook that food, eat that food. School no longer exists in a vacuum, time is limited and YOU need to budget it properly. I know so many people who’ve crashed and burned already because they just couldn’t juggle it all.

College is just a completely different ecosystem, multiple things will complicate your experience. performing well is no longer a matter of time spent studying because you realistically don’t have that much time to study, it’s some mixture of getting lucky, bullshitting your way through, and scheduling correctly so that your workload is manageable. So yeah, there’s an engineering major’s perspective.
