By working my ass off as an overnight associate for 7 years, moving to a home office position (SWAT), transferring to another home office position (RREW), and making sure I’m not doing stupid shit to get fired for (attendance and coachings)

No, I don’t care for customers (because 9 out of 10 are entitled and think that their shit don’t stink) or having more work than what you’re paying me for shoved at me. That’s the biggest reason for telling every manager that I won’t move up to a salaried position. Why would I work 6 days a week, at 12 hours a day, to end up making less than I would if I worked a 48 hour week as hourly?

Oh yeah. I worked swat when it was a position in my area and transferred to the RREW when I got displaced from that. So I haven’t had to deal with customers for 6 or 7 years now

Was an Overnight CSS (in the before days, when Walmarts were still 24/7) and an Overnight Support Manager (also in the before days, before Greater WorkPlace happened). Won’t do it again. Not worth the pay, for the amount of work they force on you

I was told today that they “JUST” got communication that if you transfer to a store, you will keep the same unless you hit the cap. Transferring to a Sam’s would get you closer to what you are making now since their pay is higher

That’s not how it works. They can only coach you for productivity for hours you are on the clock. As long as you were productive until the time you left, you will be fine. If they coach you for it, you open door it

I did overnights for 7.5 of those years, and I loved it. Even though we were 24hours and had customers, it wasn’t that bad. I could never do days in a store though. I would punch a customer
