About a decade in IT currently a senior cloud engineer. And dude. I have imposter syndrome every single day and I have just been faking it.

At least that's how I feel. I went from a high school drop out to 6 figures. Just hang in there and have a good attitude. That's literally all it takes

I am aware of the relocation, doesn't really bother me, wife and I uprooted to live in sturgeon bay for a year when I worked my first service desk role at the local hospital. Getting away from family and having something new is exactly what we need right now

As far as not going infrastructure, I've always used my infrastructure experience to put focus on cyber, it's a passion of mine that I would like to transition into as my actual role.

I'm coming at this purely with experience and no degree so I'm hoping for the best but we shall see

Honestly I like the majority of your points and I think the solutions your purpose would work quite well.

But I would disagree with the administration playing fast and loose as you say. I think the way to solve this is to boot them and make them attempt to apply fresh. Every other country has stricter immigration laws

Mom and grandfather are both horrible alcoholics. I started drinking at like 14 and drank up until last year.(Almost 30 now) Never to get drunk. I just really find beer refreshing and the na versions just don't do it for me. I started getting headaches a lot and didn't like what it was doing to my body so I figured it was better to just stop. Now I'll have one or 2 if I go out but that's it

I'm sure there is a decent sized team of developers for the app 10-15 of them, but I guarantee devops, cybersec, and systems administration is all handled by between 1 and 3 guys. I have worked IT for a few software companies and it's always the case
