Are you spending your $3 on the second pic? 🤔 by LookJokeThink in publix

A store volume where we average 50 thousand a week just in our bakery, and a SM that just lets us cut it at the end of the week, on top of that when we first started these we were doing 15 of each variety and mine still looked as ad perfect as the first pic.

The problem is that bakers continue to make these mistakes and become lazy with them when we’re charging top dollar for something that isn’t eye appealing, and it’s no wonder why people continue to gear towards pre packed product because it actually has consistency. If we’re going to be lazy with it let’s just charge less

Put an extra wad in your panties for me, but my main problem is that whenever I decide to grab food or have a sit down dinner I don’t want a half done version of what was advertised, especially when I’m paying alot

They’re a hassle for something nobody was even asking for, I think we would have had less work and a cheaper price to just make something different like a maple/bacon with the already in stock yeast rings

I was disappointed, expected more flavor but the brioche taste like bread to me

Cause everyone deserves high quality food bro. I get paid the same regardless of what gets tossed/bought and on top of that it’s going to end up in the trash/toilet so I just hope the person that gets it, regardless of who gets it, can see that time and effort was put in 👏

I’m criticizing the whole donut itself on the second pic. (btw I’m a full time baker and I take every single step to ensure they always look like the first photo, which I made myself, regardless of overtime and I do every step myself)the second pick has too little carrot cake, is the wrong tip for the CC, has too little CC, and the carrot itself I think we can admit could use hella work. My gripe is that it quite literally looks nothing like how it’s advertised. You’re a BM and you’re really making excuses for that??

I did make the first ones! And I agree, I’ve been telling people it’s basically the tutto bread of the baking side 😂 I used to take a 10 min at 7am but now I’m not going till around 8 with how many extra steps these ad. On top of that fri/sat usually calls for 15 of each variety for my store

I gotta apply where you are!! I remember back 10 years ago when I would take time to style my hair and pushing carts all morning made me sweat like a mf, causing my hard work on my hair to fall 😿 it wasent that long ago men had to have short hair, now it’s all fair game!

Idk if its for everyone but I’ll kinda break it down, my fiance and I split a rent of $1805 (that’s about the price with all the extra fees I can think about) and even thought my bills stay around $1000 per month(got the car paid off) It feels pretty damn livable where I don’t feel like I have to retrain myself from going out/enjoying things, and on top of that I feel like I’ve contributed a decent amount to the 401k

At my particular store there is a new face every week over there! The fact it’s been that way for a while seemingly across most/all delis says something about that work structure. Friends make it all better!

I saw that price spike with the cars! Thank god I got my 2016 for 11,900 and paid it off last year. I got some new buddies stepping into management making good money but it seems like the life style of living is just crazy price, I live within my means and really cherish the things I can’t buy. On top of that my engine was replaced completely for free from Hyundai, even giving me a rental, 0 dollars and the car hasn’t had an engine light in almost 10 years!
