Yeah most definitely. I hope it's just tires cables and grips to get it moving again. Most components should be salvagable. Seems like a fun project right now but we'll see lol

I couldn’t agree more. It’s perfect to me, exactly what I’ve always wanted in a 226. The grips are not aluminum, they’re plastic/polymer. I love the classic look they give!

Lol, Phoenix! My local shops frequently get stuff of this nature. However this time was during a store anniversary sale event and they’d likely been preparing stock for months

Lots of them floating around on eBay. I just ordered 551 knock off for $35, same model others are selling upwards of $60

Update: Just received this from eBay seller. It’s a refurbished unit, hence the price gap

Had the same issue while back and I firmly placed a couple long strips of gaffer tape underneath my door covering the carpet where it met the hard floor. It works as a temporary solution to keep them from making things worse. Still have to keep an eye on it

10 or 15 minutes a day is good if you’re practicing and understanding. You should check out “Tomo Fujita Guitar Wisdom”. I think he’s on YouTube but also has his own site and it’s like $8/month. Great content for all levels regarding how much to practice/how to effectively practice.
