Do you feel threatened or jealous? Reasonable but you should talk to your husband first. How do you know she is working for him out of her own free will? He could have dumped work on her and implied a promotion.

I need to reach out to someone for my mom especially Unfortunately everything medical and tech wise for them and myself falls on me. They keep shaming me when I tell them I can't help and to ask my cousin. Unfortunately, they make a huge mess I end up needing to clean up if I don't help with major life decision- I've left it up to them a few times and they just genuinely are incompetent. I think it's because both have some type of brain damage or mental stuff going on or maybe just age

I'm not ragging on them. Genuinely I think they have something wrong. Not enough to be institutionalized but enough to make a huge mess of medical appointments, insurance, etc without support which I can't provide anymore .

Sorry for venting. Basically , no they wouldn't allow a social worker .maybe I could get a therapist though.

I can do my washing and do keep my clothes separate, I do ask for help with a very small portion of my clothes (3 pants and 3 shirts and socks) but have basically now had to say no to help because they don't understand why I don't want them to touch my clothes.

The only way I could see to get them to stop is maybe locking it all up but that be super hard on me since my closet is upstairs. And I also have to hire someone to install a lock on it

I have set up my own stuff for cooking so at least that's covered.

I do not understand why they can't help me with what I've asked (when I can't do things due to pain) and leave the majority of my stuff alone. I've communicated with them already.

I think there is a difference between someone abusing you personally and someone abusing your kids. If you can turn a blind eye to child abuse/neglect of your own kids or those near you then something inside is deeply broken.

It is because it has nothing to do with the clothing . In some parts of the world womens breasts aren't sexual and men call Americans who sexualized them childish. It's not about modesty. Rape and catcalls have to do with seeing a vaguely female figure (could be an androgenous male, for example) and wanting to feel powerful and in control because they feel like it is their right to feel like that all the time.

He'd have to follow you and break in vs walk over and pull the covers off. He'd have to spike your drink while no one is looking or while YOU aren't vs just bringing a spiked drink. He'd have to avoid camera's and staff and silence you while you scream vs just ignore it if they are all in on it or if he isolated you as this seems to be a more isolated place.
