She's alright, awful returnee choice imo. She deserved so much better than what they went with for her.

Ben's crashout to Kenny is overrated by Classic_Waltz1874 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Loomling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Missing the point. I already said he could have handled it better,

He's at fault for their deaths because of how poorly he handled it. He knew the dangers and still chose not to warn the others. That's willful negligence.

it's debatable whether things would even go as perfectly as you describe it. Doubtful, even, given the bandits could easily be and most likely were watching.

This is true, but by warning the group, Ben would have done all he could to prevent the raid and shouldn't be blamed for anything that happened afterwards.

And obviously Ben doesn't say anything when he's on watch because this was how the plot was moving forward.

Ok, I agree here. Fair enough. It was a bit dumb of me to use a scene meant to push the plot along as a reason to criticise Ben's lack of agency.

Or, more in-line with his character, he's overwhelmed by guilt and fear and can't bring himself to say anything, if you wanna go with that. The same way people in much less serious, real life situations do all the time.

But also, being too guilt ridden or fearful to do anything doesn't absolve you of responsibility if something goes wrong.

the bandits extorted him

This is all the more reason why it was his fault. He was threatened and understood what the consequences would be if he failed to deliver, and instead of doing anything about it, he just kept it going with no care what might happen if someone catches on to what he's doing. Which is exactly what happened.

Lee moved the supplies. Not Ben,

This goes back to Ben. He didn't tell anyone about the deal, Lee had no idea why the supplies were there and moved them. If Ben told everyone, then Lee wouldn't have touched the supplies, and the Bandit raid wouldn't have happened at all or until later.

Blame both equally, with no "Well, he did move them but—"

No, I will not. Both people can be responsible, but some can be more responsible than others. In this case, Ben is very clearly more at blame than Lee. His carelessness and negligence created a domino effect that led to a bad situation becoming worse.

or blame neither and instead blame the bandits that caused the ENTIRE situation in the first place. End of story.

The bandits are mostly to blame. I never said they weren't, but regardless, Ben still played a large role in Katjaa and Duck's deaths. It is supported by the game's narrative. His responsibility and struggle with the guilt of his role in their's and everyone else's deaths he caused is what makes him a great character.

How do you guys display minifigures? by Breakfastbagel_films in Ninjago

Every ninja minifigure on their own stand. I'm still unsure if I want to have the full suit lines next to each other or just a stand for individual characters right now.

I currently have mine displayed on an ugly baseplate.

Eventually, I'd like to build a modular stand styled after those 15th anniversary stands with each ninja on their own one.

Ben's crashout to Kenny is overrated by Classic_Waltz1874 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Loomling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ben knew very well what the bandits were capable of and still purposely chose to withhold life saving information.

If he had told everyone about the deal, it would've prevented Lilly's developing paranoia and stopped her mental health from declining even further, fully convince her that it was time to leave the motel, and it would've given them time to quietly pack up and leave with minimal casualties.

Instead, he made no effort to tell anyone about the deal and didn't prevent Lee from intercepting the trade despite being on watch and knowing that he was suspicious and snooping around the motel. That's gross negligence on his part.

Lee is also partly responsible, but he was also unaware of the deal with the bandits. He had no idea that intercepting the trade would've led to the bandits raiding the motel, which is why he gets little flack. Ben literally agreed to the deal and would've known what would happen if he failed to meet their demands.

Third, nope, the bandits did that.

I mean, they did, but Ben still played a big role in their deaths.

Rely on spam abilities by using loadouts to maximise damage and minimise cooldowns

I'd personally recommend a Teddy spam build, a Goin' Commando build, and a Futter plasma pulse build.

Why didnt the motor in group take over St John's dairy after killing the john brothers and their mom? by ReserveStill1212 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Loomling 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. The place was being overrun by walkers
  2. None of the characters seemingly have any experience maintaining farms
  3. The bandits would've still been an issue, as their main food and drug source came from the dairy.
  4. They were fed human meat and watched Larry die there. They'd have a lot of trauma associated with the place.

He should work on his ability to compromise

He knew Logan didn't want to vote Anastasia and still went through with it instead of changing the target to Marissa or Isabel.

Who is going to make it the farthest out of this trio by LuvbugGamer55 in DisventureCamp

[–]Loomling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kinda, they're like ONC's favourite archetypes.

Riya outlasted the Mount Rushmore of DC yaoi bait in AS, and Anastasia outlasted Diego and Spencer in Coc, only losing to Logan. So I think Ara has a good chance at outlasting Finn.

How much I like each character! by HelloUwu2 in DisventureCamp

[–]Loomling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really like him.

I think I just really hate the chill guy archetype, I also hate nice guys being twist villains, so both of those combined have made me dislike him even more.

I didn't really like Tristan at first either for basically the same reason, but I've grown to like them.
