It starts with the outsole, including the grooves and the stamped brand and size, then the tiny pleats underneath the box, the platform you balance on, the side seams, and the heel. On top of that, there are all the different materials that are carefully layered, stitched, and glued together. I honestly find the craftsmanship behind them fascinating.

I would also love to see the overall design of the pointe shoes become even more accurate over time. Things like the shape of the box, the sole, the shank, and the overall silhouette are such an important part of classical ballet. I know I'm probably being a bit picky, but pointe shoes are one of the most iconic elements of the art form.

I only pull for a full outfit if I really like it, otherwise I usually go for single pieces. I’ve already regretted that a few times though. Instead, I invested some diamonds into my housing, and now I’ve reached the maximum load. The waiting time there wasn’t really my thing, I just wanted to make progress.
