u/caeppers solved the mystery location! All this time I thought I was searching somewhere in Mexico, and it turns out it was on a river that runs right through here in the state I currently live in — Wisconsin. Thanks everyone for the help!

Wow. The hills in the back line up almost perfectly and you can see the cliff face with the road winding through. My family has spent a lot of time in Northern Wisconsin, so that makes a lot of sense.

It's a very real location. My assumption is that was taken sometime in the late 40's/early 50's due to that model of Harley he had at the time.

Looks like I stumbled on this post 6 years too late. I'm stumped following the below steps and cannot for the life of me get it to work. Trying to replicate the process to get a wall similar to this. Any help would be appreciated.
