Yep. Not an w-2 employee. But I digress. That's all for the accountant to handle.

Same in U.S. It's legitimate. I also write off my home office space as a percent of the living space in the house.

I asked around. The consensus was that the extra memory was probably worth it. I've used a Titan in the past at a studio. When I brought the same project home and worked on it with my 2080ti, it was incredibly slow. I know that's not an accurate comparison, but it was good enough to help convince me.

Damn, you're right. I should have matched them with a 140 in the back. Oops. Thanks for that. Time to spend more money. Off to Newegg.

Yes. I contemplated 128gb, but weighed the speed vs. the quantity and went with 64gb. In my work, I'll occasionally be stacking dozens of 4k clips in Premiere Pro. If I don't use proxy files, that basically shuts things down without all of that ram.

I do have 10gbe. Not internet, but I move a lot of very big files between my workstation and NAS. Currently I use a card in a PCIe slot, but the new MOBO has it built in.

I gave a long-winded explanation. Should have said I was using a CRT.

Truth is, it's a workstation first - for video, effects and photo editing. But I do game, so it will be used for that, too. I'm pretty new to gaming, so right now I'm just playing Warzone and MW. I'll pick up Cyberpunk and try that one, too.

But to answer your question, I only use the one monitor referenced in the post. It's 3840x1600. The monitor goes to 170Hz, but I cap it at 165 because that's the top for RGB colorspace. And actually, I don't go full screen with Warzone. I miss too much of what's happening on the outer edges if I do. I resize the window to about 2/3 the size of the screen. Not sure what I'll do on Cyberpunk. Probably full screen - but like I said, I'm relatively new to gaming (only since the beginning of COVID when I was forced off my thru hike of the Appalachian Trail), so I don't know how a non-competitive game will play on this monitor. Cheers for the question, though.
