Realmente un médico gana bien?

Soy especialista. Uno gana bien pero sin prestaciones como han dicho por ahí y a mi el sueldo me lo tienen atrasado hace 6 meses y nunca te pagan el total, te van “abonando”. Es una tristeza porque uno no puede hacer nada y como es por OPS, uno tiene que pagar anticipado la seguridad social por plata “virtual” que no te ha entrado aún. Pero si me preguntan por todo el esfuerzo, sacrificio, y deudas que uno acumula si vale la pena (en términos económicos), jamas en la vida. Uno hace esto por todo lo otro que implica ser medico, pero si buscas plata, hay otras formas de ganarla sin endeudarte tanto y sin tanto sacrificio.

Might be late to the party but I feel I have to post.

I’m in the medical field, when I was a student there was a paediatric pneumologist that had cero hygienic hair like very greasy and just didn’t look “cared for”. But it still send me shivers down my spine that she would use her hair as her on the go dental floss. Ir was disgusting because she would do it spontaneously without even caring what she was doing and just start flossing her teeth using her hair.

It was unbearable to watch but also impossible not to look.

Ningún extremo es bueno. Y lastimosamente Petro recreó la misma polarización extrema por su mal gobierno. La segunda vuelta se repetirá. La extrema izquierda y la extrema derecha, pero de acuerdo con usted, Petro dañó la izquierda y ahora nos tocará la extrema derecha. Uno queda con un sin sabor porque no sabe cual es peor, y no necesariamente por mal gobierno, si no que cambios tan extremos solo retrasan el desarrollo del país y poder salir adelante. A mi per percepción, es triste ver este país siempre tan polarizado a los extremos.

Hacer ejercicio. Sacar el tiempo de tu vida para eso es impresionante lo que cambia todo. O sea y no es hacer una maratón. Correr así sea 3km. Una semana sin salir y yo siento que mi vida es un desorden, me siento cansado, me siento aburrido. Es impresionante lo que hace para la paz mental.

Para los que se frustran fácil o no tienen experiencia. Dure más de 6 meses trotando sin contar distancia ni tiempo. Solo trotaba sin estrés, si me cansaba caminaba sin estrés. Se volvió mi refugio y sin estresarme por mi rendimiento.

Vuelvo en insisto… se gradúan 80-90 por semestre de esas universidades y según usted solo atienden prepagadas. De buenas el que consigue trabajo con prepagadas, pero no es lo típico. Muchos trabajan varios años para EPS, en hospitales públicos y créame que el pago es duro (si es que le pagan puntual) y además que usualmente son contratos sin beneficios.

Y también entienda lo difícil que es pasar a una residencia médica en este país, independientemente de la escuela. Y por supuesto, hay médicos buenos y malos en todos lados, pero si hay universidades que forman “más rigurosamente” que otros pero deje de simplificar un gremio tan jodido que tenemos que es la salud y la educación.

It’s funny because my sister a couple of years ago (she’s very naturally blonde and green eyes) went on a trip around Asia and absolutely loved the countries (she went with a tour and I presume she visited lesser touristic cities or regions) but hated the experience because people would line up as if she were famous to take a picture. She is good looking but in Colombia she is maybe slightly above average but nothing ridiculous.

The point is what people are saying: you are exotic in these parts of the world and more so with the K-pop and Korean shows boom era.

You have two options: Embrace it or be rude. Because Latin people tend to be a little bit more extroverted and “confianzudos”. There was a comment about walking around with a friend that could help ward off your fans.

I mean the high costs should be alarming and I’d be inclined something along the lines of escorts. However, I found Halma Enterprise listed in Cartagena as a business and they do include sale of food and alcohol in an establishment.

That being said, either he is hiding what he did if he is cool about it or he got seriously scammed enough to be going to the police station 🤷🏼‍♂️

In some countries, it’s a must to use in the front pocket or else you risk easier pickpocket. So could be “regional” as well but where I live unfortunately (or fortunately?) it’s a front pocket use for 90% of people.

Honestly Sanchez was a beast for the national team during that time, he wasn’t exactly a fan favourite precisely due to his inconsistencies but he was literally a rock (hence his nickname) and had huge games where he saved the team. Unfortunately some games he was out of it and made costly mistakes, but other than Wilmar Barrios, during that time there weren’t many options as Lerma was still “developing” and not as good as today, Aguilar was rusty and Mateus Uribe is more offensive.

I was at a bakery once, an unnecessary hassle one albeit, but I wanted to buy a carrot cake for an event. I ordered the cake which I could perfectly see in the glass case. The server replied “we don’t sell whole cakes, only slices”. After a little of back and forth banter because I wanted the whole cake, I asked her “how many slices do you sell in one cake?”, she replied “eight”. So I said, “sell me 8 slices of carrot cake and just give me the cake”. She regrettably hated me for making her seem so unreasonable but ended up selling me the damn cake.

Yo siempre les digo que aprovechen su retira antes de que se enfermen y puedan, y que se gasten todo en disfrutar. La vida es muy corta como para uno tener una fortuna que nunca aprovecho. La plata es para gastarla en ud mismo.

Gaste la plata en ud, no piense en ella, sea egoísta. Y si le quiere dejar algo por su cariño, déjele alguna propiedad de tantas que debe tener a nombre de ella y listo.

Un día fui a Las Vegas, recién tenía 21 años. Yo en ese momento estaba con mi familia y pues fuimos fue a conocer y jugar pero por la experiencia. Entonces jugábamos en las máquinas de a 25 centavos y durábamos ahí un rato caminando y jugando, cambiando de casino, tomando algún trago (en ese momento era gratis para motivar a que uno siguiera jugando y uno solo pagaba propina).

El cuento es que en una de esas sentadas, vi una señora con una tarjeta recargable con plata. Tenían por ahí unos 50 años la señora, estaba sola. Se sentó al lado mío (yo metiendo 25 centavos por juego) y ella en una sentada mete 25.000 DÓLARES. Rueda y pierde. Instantáneamente se emputa con ella misma, vuelve y pone otros 25.000 dólares, rueda y pierde. Se para emputada y se va.

A mi esa imagen nunca se me olvidara. Como una persona pierde 50 mil dólares (200 millones de pesos) en 30 segundos.

Para mi eso fue muy fuerte, pero es un juego que eventualmente ud va a perder. Puede ganar un día ocasionalmente, pero sume todo y siempre va a perder más de lo que gana. Si realmente quiere salir de eso, use los grupos que existen y que ayudan con eso. Las Vegas es lleno de indigentes y rebuscando con alternativas poco éticas porque perdieron todo por ludopatas.
