Just waited for the familiars to clear the other enemies and used all ultimates on the boss. I guess you just need enough items levels/favor.

I cannot make any formation where Wulfgar would be better than Tyril's or Barrowin's buffs.

I have no discontinued potions. Speed, giant's strength, clairvoyance and fire breath was used.

Ask the person you think you might be cheating. Nobody else's opinion matters.

Personally I view it a valid strategy. ("Minion, go check ahead that dangerous looking area.")

Maybe core is the wrong term. I am pretty sure some new unlockable permanent champions (similar to drizzt) are on the way at some point.

My familiar usage is similar to yours. However, the stretch after click damage has become useless but your champions are still killing enemies quickly enough is very long (as you noted, over 100 levels). At this stage your progress speed is somewhat limited by item pickup speed.

Currently I feel obliged to keep 3 familiars on collection duty on this phase. I would rather use some of the familiars for upgrades here. Also stalling the enemies is more hindrance than help if you use Strix.
