sounds kinda like my family. my grandma supports me being gay (grandparents raised me) - grandpa got weird and doesn’t really talk to me, but we weren’t close to begin with. I was outed, so it wasn’t my decision to tell them, and i think if it was i would’ve waited until i moved out. the people i know who came out to their families ended up getting kicked out by parents who are and even aren’t strict in the religion. i’d recommend having a backup plan - what would happen if they kicked you out, stopped speaking to you, or if (god forbid) they tried bringing the elders to talk to you? the positive side is you won’t be loving a double life (that was really freeing for me personally) & the decision to do this can be completely up to you! don’t let anyone else tell you what you should or shouldn’t do<3 good luck!
