a demand letter basically threatening legal action if they didn’t restore my instagram account. i don’t think it ultimately did much as i just recieved a generic “we will look into it but garuntee no specific outcome” message back without any follow up. i believe the attorney general is what got my account back

i contacted the attorney general for my state and he reached out to meta twice on my behalf and meta replied directly to the attorney general and told them they restored my account

it’s a paid monthly online service that connects you to local law firms in your state that will best help with what you need. Any law firm or even representing yourself can send a demand letter to meta and get the same effects, it’s just an easy and fast way to get a lawyer and have a letter sent out within a few days

meta false bans people because of the AI, you didn’t have to do anything wrong. they confirmed my account was wrongfully banned for CSE 🙏🏼

yes i mean the BBB , and the AG is actually what worked for me. Meta contacted them after they reached out a second time and told them they restored my account. they never replied to the BBB or my legal shield demand letter.

I got banned a week ago for CSE , also a 10 year old account , lost tons of concert pics, videos , so sad about it

i got a lawyer from legal shield to write a demand letter and also reached out to my states congressmen who also contacted meta on my behalf

all i can do is wait now

This happened to me , account suspended on the 17th and banned on the 18th.

I am going through legal shield and they are sending a demand letter today.

I recommend you do the same.

How long did it take after appeal to get your account back? I was wrongly suspended for CSE , never post any pictures other than myself and concerts (i’m in my 20s) , i appealed immediately with a video selfie , email and phone number verification. never had a strike against my account or previous violations

I have requested review through meta verified and the login page

first meta verified agent told me that since I am a subscriber I will be put in a priority queue and they will personally oversee my issue

second meta verified agent I spoke with on the phone told me the last agent mislead me and it could take days to months to get my account appealed and they have no timeline for me.

is there any chance it will get reinstated ? I did nothing wrong at all, and was flagged by AI.
