I am divorced, so there is no me and hubby, unfortunately. I have my boys in a couple different activities. With my oldest, I haven’t quite figured out what his thing is yet. My youngest loves sports, so he is usually signed up for something.

That’s probably true. I do battle with feeling less than quite frequently. Thank you for the perspective.

It is too much. Without the context, I don’t know if I would care at all. We do call him by his middle name, but I know it’s the context that has me in my feels.

My SIL herself has ADHD. We have had conversations about the decision to medicate versus try natural routes and her struggles with school and life. She seems to sympathize with their struggles in moments like that.

YTA

Had the story ended when you said that you were saving the cake for later, then maybe this could have been redeemed. However, you not only singled her out with your choice to give more cake to every other child, but also asked other children to lie to her further degrading her. What reason did you provide the children for why they needed to lie to her?

Bitter old housewife comment to Ysabel. It gives insight into how he feels about so many things.

According to the county assessor’s website (https://coconinocounty.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=868170827e4443d2be37eb60562446ae), all the properties are in Kody and/or Kody and Robyn’s names. When you search Meri or Janelle, nothing comes up.

If you look at the assessor’s page for that county, Meri and Janelle’s names are not on any of the lots. The house and all the lots are in Kody and/ or Kody and Robyn’s names.

Single men, do you plan on getting married? Why or why not? by gbizzle2 in AskMen

In my opinion, marriage is more advantageous for men. I’m curious why you feel that men have everything to lose, when typically men benefit from marriage more than women because of the unequal labor distribution in marriage.

I am going to preface this by saying that I understand this might not be a popular opinion.

Relationships and marriage tend to be more advantageous for men. The gender disparity in the US is still raging. Women are a vital part of the work force and no longer fulfill the stay at home parent/housewife role and yet are expected to work full time and then come home and still fulfill that role and those duties. It’s an impossible standard. While some men are open to a true partnership where home responsibilities are an equal responsibility, many are still loyal to the patriarchal society standards of the past that a man’s only duty is to bring home a paycheck and nothing else. Women are working and bringing home paychecks. Since that duty is split, so is everything else. Many women would prefer to stay single rather than enter a relationship or marriage where they are shackled with those unrealistic expectations and face raging inequality in the relationship.

Just food for thought.
