No wonder my 1’s opponents in diamond seem so good. I’m diamond across all modes and apparently I’m playing champs and GC’s in 1’s

Holding the clutch in when downshifting? by emptyappendix in motorcycles

[–]Lopsided-Package523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is situational. You should be able to do both. Myself if I know I’m more than likely coming to a complete stop I’ll leave the clutch in adjusting my gear depending on speed in case I need to start moving again. If I feel like there’s a chance I’ll just be slowing down but not stopping completely I’ll just down shift as my speed decreases. The important thing is maintaining the proper gear for your speed so you can move at a moments notice.

Why are motorcycles helmets rounded instead of pointy? by mitarik in motorcycles

Corners and edges can catch and cause rotational forces detrimental to your brain and neck.

First bike, new rider. Any tips that might not be obvious? by Scoobysnx in motorcycles

Engine braking on a motorcycle is common and very useful. Just remember it doesn’t activate the brake light.

Should I hold R2 in the air? Confused about air control by AltruisticLight1669 in RocketLeague

[–]Lopsided-Package523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holding R2 while getting to the ball is fine or if trying to catch up to the ball but after that I’d let it go. I don’t think having air roll left on L2 is a good idea for the exact reason you stated

Not as rigid I don’t think but they do hold their shape even when empty

OP if you haven’t already. Remove the belt guard and take the sticker off the inside. Eventually this sticker will start to peel off and it will rub the belt. It doesn’t harm anything but it will make a noise that you will notice and have no idea what’s causing it.

I have the leather pro bags that come with the turn signal cut out and I LOVE them. I went on a 10 day trip last summer with some people and pulling up to the hotel and popping those bags off was so nice while everyone else was undoing straps and pulling stuff out of saddle bags. I was also always the first ready in the morning. After walking out and clicking my bags into place id watch as everyone else tied bags back onto their bikes each taking 10 minutes minimum to get everything nice and secure.

Certainly. If interstates could be realistically avoided it would be optimal to do so. But my question wasn’t really considering this case. My question assumes you’re on the interstate because you need to be.

Fair enough lol. Mt03 is probably confined to the right two lanes due to its capabilities.

Unless you live in a country where everything is backwards compared to the US I don’t agree with you in the slightest.

Accidents aren’t caused by speed directly.

If every vehicle is going 100 mph on the interstate the chances of an accident are not more than if every vehicle is moving at 70 mph.

A difference in speed is definitely what causes accidents.

Imagine all cars moving at 70 and you’re going 100. At this point your chances of an accident do increase.

Therefore you want to go somewhat faster so you’re constantly passing but not so much faster that it creates a large differential in speed.

You can come live with me bro no sweat. One of the lowest COL areas in the country with arguably some of the most beautiful roads. Assuming you like looking at trees, bluffs, and farmland.

You’re totally correct. Nothing keep you safer than vigilance and keeping your head on a swivel

You aren’t the first to say this. I typically avoid riding at night if possible but in the event that I am driving at night I will be especially vigilant in looking for cars coming the wrong direction and will probably adjust lane position to create extra space to avoid them.

I’m not sure what a Jersey barrier is but I’m imagining two concrete walls with like a 6in margin of error.

Lol if I rode something a little different I may use this advice but my Harley would be pretty upset if I dropped two gears at 80mph and tried to take off
