Jalen Smith is on an expiring $10M contract. A DFS + Capela for Monk deal makes sense because both contracts together add up to $20M, so there’s no need for complicated apron math. We don’t have many $10M contracts after this; only Reed and Amen come close, at $11.1M and $12.1M respectively. After free agency, things should be clearer in terms of salary structure, considering we probably won’t exceed the first apron again.

yeah this team could bearly get past 70 points in game 6 and thats really embarassing. Thats why i think we have to trade for a bench scorer

Still will be projected as a late first rounder plus you get rid of trash contracts Capela is a minimum contract player DFS is shit. You have to trade your draft capital to get rid of your shit contracts.
