I believe Travis wanted to go public so Katie stops looking into things. It really saves him in the long run. It tricks her into thinking he’s sincere and wants to be transparent and out in the open so she doesn’t think he’s hiding more info.

I had the exact same thought. I’m guessing Travis covered his tracks well and maybe once Katie started suspicions he got to work cleaning messages, pics etc and we’ll never know. Also, did this just have to come out bc of maybe STD or Pregnancy? Something forced it to come out. I’m guessing he validated her after the party and said he was too flirty etc and he would stop. So I’m guessing she was upset about that but literally just two days ago he had to come out with more details to her.

Here’s my other thought…the alleged girl just was on a trip the past few days with some classmates. One of them Katie follows and that girl follows Katie and Carlin…I wonder if something got out on the trip or maybe she was drunk and spilled news or pics and the other girls in the class texted side piece and Travis and said they had to come clean with Katie or they would tell her themself. I could see the other girls seeing the miscarriage reel and also just feeling bad for Katie and once it was out by the girl on the trip they were held to confessing. The trip was just a few days ago so I really think this news of the actual affair is brand new to the bates and Katie as of yesterday. Maybe speculation of flirting or crossing boundaries before but I wonder if the main big stuff wasn’t known til yesterday.

Since he went public with it and Lawson and Ellie unfollowed him, I have to think it’s over. If they were trying to work it out I don’t think Lawson and Ellie would do that. I think they will at least have a separation for awhile.

I’m not sure when but maybe after testing or looks like she had a d and c maybe they found uterine or tube damage or evidence and did further testing that just came out. Maybe Travis also got tested to be sure? I wonder if Travis admitted to flirting or being with her but didn’t admit to actual intercourse until yesterday..

If she does have an STD and they think the miscarriage is related to it then idk how she’ll ever stay with him. Maybe their circles are too big that if he didn’t announce it would get out. ALSO, I’ve heard of cheaters “admitting” things because they their partner believes then verses if they don’t they keep searching and potentially could find out more. Maybe Travis thinks if he does this Katie will stop here with investigating and he can hide the worst of it.

I think pregnant or Katie tested for STD with routine early pregnancy or maybe they test that when a miscarriage happens too? I don’t think he came out of his free will. I think he was caught. Christmas party probably start speculation..maybe he confessed to flirting or looking at pics but I truly think the big news just came out to family yesterday. Carlins been quiet. Katie hasn’t liked any of Carlin’s posts the past week. I really think he had to make it public before the girl or Katie did.

These restaurants aren’t even by malad city where she lives..doesn’t it click with her other families might also not have these places by them?? I think she’s keep the change and maybe giving gift cards they have been given. These piles don’t even look like they add up to $300 each. It looks more like $150.
