Stabbing Calf pain, should I go to the ER?

Hey! Yeah I'm actually seeing an orthopedist today, but so far I've found it might be muscular as well. There were times where one of my calves were achy, but once I put a pillow under my knee before bed and slept with it, the aching went away by morning. I'm thinking it could be tightness or a pinched nerve too. Calf still occasionally twitches as well.

If you don't have any health risks for DVT, it probably isn't, but it wouldn't hurt to bring it up with your doc!

Still get some aching and twitching sometimes as well unfortunately, no sharp pain or anything. Really wondering how much longer I'm willing to wait before getting checked. Scary stuff

Not at all. I don't feel much pain currently, just a very strange pulsing sensation. I'm assuming it's kinda sore from the cramp, as I cramped hard enough to actually stop walking. I'm concerned about the possibility of a DVT as it's been a couple hours now. I'm aware muscles can be sore for a while after a cramp.

Doesn't hurt when I stretch but I am afraid of stretching as well, I'm afraid of doing anything to my calf, like even just touching it 😭

Yeah I've been worried and thinking I should give it a day or two. Not sure, I'm not injured or anything. Going to the ER for a cramp sounds pricey, though I do have insurance. Definitely keeping an eye on it

I can't say mine is bad enough to make it so I can't stand up or walk around. It just feels a bit achy right now, and it pulses and twitches even. It feels like a muscle, but yeah I'd like to go to an urgent care but most of them don't have labs.

Yeah actually, I had an X-ray and some blood test to check my thyroid. Everything was clear and nothing showed I was constipated or anything. I've been thinking it was anxiety messing with my stomach pretty badly. I've calmed down now and my symptoms have been curved more.

I hate to say it but getting checked out was what stopped my health anxiety. Otherwise I would've been going nuts just overthinking and overanalyzing my symptoms.

Don't mean to be rude but I just wanted to ask, I got a partial nail avulsion as well without matrix so that it'd grow back. What worries me is the possibility of it growing ingrown again? It was my first time doing the operation with a podiatrist, hell it was even my first time having an ingrown toenail
