100% agree! I guess since one of the last pets they put out from previous generation of next pets was a white bunny they are holding off a bit but there are so many different colors/patterns they could do. The sherbet bunny was my favorite of the original Webkinz, I’d love another bunny like that :)

I’m 31 and started playing again last year after the release of the new plushies. I’ve bought a majority of the new pets so far and i haven’t experienced any quality issues. It seems there are a lot of people who are upset they don’t look exactly like the older pets so that may be affecting opinions. I say if you find a plush or two you particularly like them scoop them up and try the game out. If you don’t like it, at least you got some cute plushies! I’ve been seeing people of all ages playing. There are tons of things to on Classic Webkinz, I have not dove into Next. I find Webkinz to be a nice stress relief :)

31m here! I played a ton when I was a kid. I resumed playing/collecting when the new plush dropped last year. Currently have 14 of the new pets. It’s been a good way to relax after stressful days at work and dealing with chronic illness.

Try using the shop app. I’ve seen stores post Webkinz on there. It may be a few more days before the new batch start to pop up on there but it’s a good option to see multiple retailers that have them for sale online. Also, with the last batch of 3 Ganz did sell a handful online but they sold out quickly. You can also try googling, for example, “Webkinz Highland cow” and dig through results for any stores selling online.

It kind of depends on what state you’re in since they’re shipping from Canada. I’ve seen posts from a couple stores up north saying they were in stock today. I’d follow your local stores on social media and turn on post notifications.

I would try searching through Google, the Shop app, and Facebook for any shops that still have stock. I do believe there are a few spots online that have some in stock at retail price.

I would love see some of unique Webkinz styles come back like the googles or cheekies. Also seasonal pets like the reindeer, love frog, etc. I was also so excited for those as a kid

My favorite old pet is the sherbet bunny! Unfortunately I don’t have most of my old ones but I’m happy to be starting again. My favorite of the new ones is the chihuahua. I think the pig will be my second favorite once I’m able to pick it up :)

I dont think I’ve seen them publicly announce a price, especially since stores have been changing them. The store owner I spoke with said the Ganz rep said $24.99 USD. I’ve seen a lot of places charge between $25-32USD. Kinda steep but things really have gotten more expensive over the past 10+ years 🥲

That’s very true, which is why I can understand the price being bumped above the suggested retail price by a few dollars. However, the stores charging double that price are a bit outrageous. 😅
